The original Lenovo Duet Chromebook we reviewed in 2020 didn't even run Geekbench 5, but if it had it would have been outperformed by the new Duet 3. When you compare it against the performance of its predecessor or similarly-equipped tablets, the Duet 3 looks good by comparison.

That's low compared to most laptops, but this is a Chromebook running on a Snapdragon SoC, not a pricey ultraportable packing the latest Intel or AMD CPUs. When we put it to the test in the Geekbench 5.4 multi-core CPU benchmark, the Duet 3 earned a score of 1,732. I was able to open 15 tabs in Chrome and stream music, watch videos on the Amazon Prime Video app, and play a game downloaded from the Google Play Store with no meaningful slowdown. It said it would ship in 1-2 days but it was 7 weeks and way after Christmas so I had to buy a cheap stylus to hold her over until this one finally arrived in mid/late January. In my time with the Duet 3 I found it to be pretty snappy for a Chromebook, with almost no slowdown when launching and switching between apps. So far, no regrets other than it did take over 2 months to get the stylus. I bought her a samsung laptop then realized it wouldn't work for drawing so I ended up returning it and buying the Chrome tablet 10e and this stylus. Hopefully the batteries will last a long time. There's just no point putting it in there and making it so hard to remove that you risk breaking the pen.

I had to Google a YouTube video and the guy actually popped the spring out trying to remove the tag from his. It would have been nice if there we're instructions because I didn't know if it was supposed to be removed or not and it was really stuck in there. The only annoying thing was the tag inside where the batteries go. Easy to use & works perfectly Great stylus! It really does make all the difference when drawing and writing on a tablet! It's so easy anyone can use it because you literally don't have to do anything except pick it up and start drawing.
